The 2023 World AeroPress Championship will take place in Melbourne, Australia from 1 to 3 December, with the location to be announced soon. The event will be preceded by the 2023 Australian National AeroPress Championship.

The World AeroPress Championship was founded in 2008 in Oslo, Norway. Some 120 independent regional and national competitions take place annually in more than 60 countries, totalling over 3,000 participants. Competitors have 5 minutes to brew a single coffee using the AeroPress. The coffees are then judged blindly by three appointed industry professionals.

The 2023 event marks the competition’s fifteenth anniversary. Over the three days, the event will include brew-offs, the Café Takeover, and activities run by sponsors such as ROEST, Brewista, and MACAP.
