The 2021 Specialty Coffee Expo was postponed to 30 September to 3 October due to Covid-19 restrictions. The event allows coffee roasters and retailers to exhibit products, network with fellow coffee professionals, and attend lectures and interactive sessions.

The Specialty Coffee Association is a nonprofit, membership-based organisation that represents thousands of international coffee professionals. The association’s purpose is to foster global communities and improve on the quality, sustainability, profitability, and equity of the specialty coffee supply chain.

This year’s Expo celebrates the Design in Coffee exhibition, as well as hosting the Best New Product Competition. The Discover Live event allows attendees to network with speakers, award nominees and championship competitors, and representatives from SCA guilds.

The SCA have postponed the US Coffee Championships to 2022 due to the detrimental impacts of hurricane Ida on New Orleans residents. The SCA will donate 50% of all attendance revenue to coffee businesses in New Orleans to rebuild from hurricane damage.
