This year, the Specialty Coffee Association of Japan will host its annual conference and exhibition at Tokyo Big Sight from 27 to 29 September. The 2023 SCAJ World Specialty Coffee Conference and Exhibition celebrates the 20th anniversary of the SCAJ, and will also include lectures and cupping sessions.

Founded in 1987, the Specialty Coffee Association of Japan aims to promote the consumption of specialty-grade coffee among Japanese consumers and support sustainable coffee production.

The theme of the 2023 SCAJ World Specialty Coffee Conference and Exhibition is “celebrating 20 years of SCAJ with you”. The event will also host the 2023 Japanese Barista, Cup Tasters, and Coffee Roasting Championships.
