ASIC Conference on Coffee Science 2021

The 28th annual 2021 Association for the Science and Information on Coffee (ASIC) Conference on Coffee Science is currently due to take place in Montpellier, France from June 28 to July 1 – with a virtual event also in place.
ASIC was founded in 1966, with a mission of establishing scientific and applied knowledge to encourage and assist in further research that contributes to improving coffee quality.
Since its establishment, ASIC has organised a series of biennial international scientific conferences in both coffee producing and consuming countries. This year’s event will involve a panel of international coffee science and technology experts, speaking on a variety of coffee topics including: agronomy, chemistry, technology, physiological effects, and packaging and storage.
President of ASIC, Astrid Nehlig, recently stated: “Because of the worldwide coronavirus outbreak that is still affecting most countries, we decided to hold the [conference] in full video format. However, we [will] keep some flexibility and we will be able to welcome you in Montpellier (face-to-face) if the situation improves.”
Online registration is available now, for both virtual and in-person events. To learn more, visit the ASIC Conference website.
