The 2023 ASEAN Barista Team Championship will take place from 3 to 5 August at the SMX Convention Centre in Manila, Philippines. The third edition of the competition, hosted by the 2023 World Food Expo in Manila, will test baristas’ speed, accuracy, and skills. Each participant will compete for the chance to win part of a total cash pool of US $11,000.

Since 2010, the ASEAN Coffee Federation (ACF) has dedicated its resources to improving the quality of coffee beans grown in countries included in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. The federation works to establish regular dialogue between stakeholders, support producers, and promote consumption of ASEAN-grown coffee.

A total of 16 teams from Brunei, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam will go head-to-head at the 2023 ASEAN Barista Team Championship. Competitors will use La Cimbali M200 GT1 espresso machines and Mazzer Major VP grinders to showcase their skills and expertise.
