Did you know that Vietnam is the 2nd largest coffee producer in the world? Surprising, right? Especially considering that the vast majority of their beans are *cough* robusta. But just before you go judging their affinity for robusta, you have to check out their traditional take on pour over coffee….using sweetened condensed milk. Don’t knock it until you’ve tried Saigon’s sweet, sweet nectar of the gods.
We know this isn’t necessarily specialty, but take a moment to appreciate the cultural implication of this beverage steeped in Vietnamese tradition.
